Yey, it’s CASE study time! This is our second week with the wonderful Julie Lacey as our CASE study muse. For this week we had this beautiful creation to CASE.
It was the colours of Julie’s card which really struck me – I just love orange and blue together! In addition to the colours I also went with the die cut and Julie’s signature mat.
I kept this card really clean and simple, but I love it! Are you allowed to say that of something you’ve made yourself! I used Papertrey Ink’s mat stack 5 die and then stamped a label from Waltzingmouse’s set, labels 18. I thought the two different shapes complemented each other and added interest withough adding bulk.
The little butterfly is from Papertrey Ink’s happy trails set and I added a jewel coloured with a copic to make it match the orange.
I hope you get chance to play along this week and if Julie’s card isn’t enough to tempt you then Whimsie Doodles are sponsoring this week with a $15 Gift Certificate to the store :)
