It’s time for another Waltzingmouse blog waltz! The theme this month is Christmas – nice and easy, which is just about all I can manage with my hectic schedule at the moment!
I recently received the big blooms poinsettia set and have been itching to use it. When this set was released I particularly loved some of the unusual colour schemes used by the design team. At this time of year I love icy blues, so here you are a blue poinsettia!
I stamped the image in powder ink, quickly threw some clear embossing powder on it and heated it up. I then came in with the powder ink again, this time on a scrap of felt wrapped around my fingers (note to self – must buy one of those felt distress ink tools). I blended from the edges inward, then accented the middle with gems and the veins with glitter. Here’s another picture showing the lovely sparkle on there.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the waltz.
