When I saw the latest embellish magazine colour challenge to incorporate squares, I immediately remembered this scrapbook page. I love how the squares cascade the colour across the page. I don’t have many purple coloured papers, but after a bit of a rummage I found some older ones from SEI.
I’m thinking of giving this card to a friend’s 12 year old. I’m hoping it is still a bit girly while equally appealing to the “tweenager” in her who has just started High School.

Gorgeous, just love it! Love the look of the rounded corners. So glad you could join us in the Embellish challenge.
I love this card. Great colors. Thanks for sharing the scrapbook page, too. I now have inspirations for both a card and a scrap page.
