Today’s post is part of a unique blog hop from Taheerah Atchia, Advent Calendar Extravaganza, more details of which are below. Today the event is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and I took it as an excellent opportunity to play with more of the new DieCember release. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. I’m returning to my clean and simple roots with this card using the gorgeous Evergreen Circle die. I cut the Evergreen Circle die from white card and then cut the piece again with a Wonky Rectangle die. I then used masking paper to cover all but the trees and blended them with Dusty Sage, Laurel Green and Midnight Green (no longer stocked but any dark green would work) inks.

I then rubbed Ranger Multi Medium Matte over the trees and sprinkled them with Rock Candy Distress Glitter.

I’ve been using this glitter as my all time favourite for years and am still delighted at the results each and every time!

I mounted the panel over a piece of Winter Wonderland patterned paper, wrapped with twine and then foam mounted on a Fog card base. I stamped a sentiment from the Fa La La set in clear embossing ink on red card red card and white heat embossed before trimming to a skinny banner and adding with foam adhesive to the base of the trees. Finally, I added a couple of Winter Wonderland enamel dots and a sequin accent.
