It’s going to be a busy day today as I’ll be showcasing new products from two companies! First, to kick-start the day lets take a look at the new Cherished Release from Simon Says Stamp. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Lets jump straight in with a look at what’s included.
Such a lot to love! Particular favourites are:
- the Summer Flowers set – an addition to the beautiful flowers with stitched style details. The other previously released sets are Winter Flowers, Spring Flowers and More Spring Flowers.
- the cute Cool Panda set – lots of accessories to play with.
- the medallion style stencils in particular the Star Medallion Stencil.
- Wonky Rectangles and Wonky Hearts – I can see these dies becoming firm favourites.
- Drifting Stitches dies – great for creating scenes
Oh I do love a good stencil and am delighted that the popular Simon Medallion style stamps are now appearing as stencils. I started this card by laying the Star Medallion Stencil on a piece of Neenah Solar White card and blending Jellybean, Mint Candy, Spring Rain and Duckling Inks over the top. I then lifted the stencil and splattered the piece with a solution of Perfect Pearls.
This stencil is a big circle and I took a slice from the ink blended piece with my paper trimmer and then fussy cut the rounded edge of the circle. I wrapped the panel with twine, tucked in a couple of white leaf sprigs cut using the Forget Me Knot Flowers dies and then foam mounted the panel to a white top folding card base.
For the sentiment I cut the Miss You dies from Audrey Blue card, adhered with foam adhesive and then coated with Glossy Accents. One last step was to add Nuvo Jewel Drops in Key Lime and Limoncello to accent.
New products always sell out fast initially so if there’s something you want then grab it quick. You can check out the Cherished Release here.
