There’s a new Altenew release around the corner, but have you had chance to check out the Hibiscus Bouquet and floral ink bundle yet? This is a special bundle with the yet-to-be-released Hibiscus Bouquet stamp set. What a great opportunity to pick up this set early. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
The set comes with both line and filler images, however, for this card I used only the line images. On watercolor card I stamped two of the larger blooms and one bud in Blush ink. Having got the bigger images in place I then dotted leaves around which I stamped with Frayed Leaf ink.
These light inks gave me an outline to watercolor and yet blend in beautifully with the painting to give a final soft no-line look. I finished the flowers with colored pencil details, glitter pen and white gel pen accents.
I’m always trying to fill my stash of birthday cards as these are the ones I send most of. So I picked a sentiment from the Floral Frame set and stamped it in black ink. I mounted the finished panel to a kraft card base and sprinkled with sequins to finish.
You can find links to the supplies I’ve used below; click on the picture or wording to get taken directly to the product. Where available I use compensated affiliate links which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. You can read my affiliate and product disclosure here. I truly appreciate your support.
Summary of the project which gives all the views of the card in one photo :D I’d love if you pinned and called by on Pinterest :D
