The new My Favorite release from Simon Says Stamp is full of fun such as these cute birthday critters!  Let’s kick things off by a look at what’s new :D All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I’m sharing a watercolored card of the Beautiful Ride set tomorrow for a hop to celebrate the new release. I hope you will pop in to see that card too.

I’m getting ahead of myself though as today it’s all about these Cuddly Critters and their Cuddly Critter Accessories! I stamped in Intense Black ink the cat from the Cuddly Critters set and then the other images are from the Cuddly Critters Accessories. These are then die cut with their matching dies before coloring with Copics and adding Glossy Accents to the balloon.

For the panel, I used the Ranger Mini Blending tool to add sea glass ink in to the bottom and then splattered with Gansai Tambi paints and foam mounted the critters on top. At first I left it like that but then I realised that it appeared as if the critters were levitating so I die cut Perfectly Plaid paper with a Wavy Scallop Stitches die and tucked that in to ground the scene. If you are getting the May Card Kit, you will be getting the Perfectly Plaid papers with the kit :D The panel is then mounted on a white card base. Such a simple card but when you group a few of these cute images together I don’t think you need much else.

So I will be back tomorrow with a watercolor card as part of a fun hop. I hope to see you here then but in the meantime why not check out the My Favorite release in full :D
