Today I’ve got a couple of super quick and easy gift card envelopes to share using the April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. One of my favorite ways to use the patterned paper that comes in the kit is to create cute packaging; gift boxes, bags, pillow boxes or in this case gift card envelopes :D

I cut two of the Simple Stories patterned papers with the Gift Card Envelope die, adhered the flaps with glue runner and then layered some of the stickers from the kit on the front. You can’t get quicker than that! I think these took all of 10 minutes to put together :D

For a little added interest I stapled a couple of the elements in place and negated the sticker adhesive on some elements with a powder tool and added foam adhesive to them to add dimension.

I’ve now got a couple of envelopes and being double-sided they look as pretty on the inside as they do on the outside and are the perfect place to tuck a gift card or a few dollars :D
