I love how delicate Simon Says Stamp’s die cuts can be and the Songbird Branch is a perfect example. The branch is so fine and the leaves come in three sizes and die cutting them impresses leaf veins too so the attention to detail is spot on. I cut the die from Neenah Solar White and then lightly coloured with Copics. I used Heidi Swapp color shine in Coral to splatter a white panel before layering the branch with a piece of Dear Lizzy paper which says ‘ I want to fill my heart with what’s important’. I stitched that down with some silver thread and then added the beautiful Wishing die cut from glitter card.
In other news the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is available to order and it’s awesome! Be quick if you want to pick one of these up – you can buy the kit individually for $29.95 or as a monthly subscription for $24.95 :D
My snowy postman delivered mine this morning and I’m seriously in love! With the kit not the postman ;) The kit is packed with a fabulous stamp set, gorgeous Crate papers, rub ons, paint brush, gelato, cute as can be paper clip, embossing powder, sticky back canvas, watercolor card, other card, vintage paper ….. Yup, jam-packed! Here’s some peeks :D
One before I go – did I mention snow? Pretty much a white out this morning! My Mum is on her way to visit and I’m hoping she manages to make it all the way here without any disruption. I want to jump into my February Card Kit but there’s a chance I might take a couple of days away from the blog to enjoy my Mum’s visit. Back soon!
