I’ve got a few posts lined up for you this week as the new February 2014 card kit from Simon Says Stamp popped through my letterbox the other day and I had such fun playing with it! When I opened that box of goodness the widest grin spread across my face! This kit is absolutely stunning and I absolutely adore it!
The kit is packed with gorgeous patterned papers from Basic Grey’s Fresh Cuts line – lots of lovely florals mixed with beautiful watercolours, a stunning stamp set designed by Kristina Werner, vellum, card stock, paint, chipboard, linen ribbon, labels, stickers ……. If you want to get your hands on the kit then you can buy just the February 2014 kit, or you can ensure you get a kit each month by signing up for a subscription or equally you can buy just the stamp set on it’s own :)
I combined the aqua watercolour paper over a peek of one of the florals and layered a white heat embossed vellum tag and a label stamped with one of the lovely handwritten sentiments from the stamp set. The stamp set also has some gorgeous flower and leaf images too and I stamped a flower in Hero Arts soft cantaloupe, cut out and added on top.
I will be back over the next few days with more from this kit. I hope you will join me :)
