make a wish

limedoodlemakeawish

I have long hankered after colouring one of the sweet Pure Innocence range from My Favorite Things and finally the other day I ordered their Make A Wish set and some other bits and pieces. Today I got the chance to play with them; got to love getting a new set inky!

I used Memento tuxedo black onto Copic x-press It card and then coloured with markers before paper piecing her dress. I used the stitched Rectangles from Lil’ Inker to cut her out and then popped the panel onto a kraft card base. I used the Graduated Dots stencil to smear some rose glitter glaze (an old Li’l Davis Designs one that I’m not sure is still available) onto the top left of the base. I thought it followed the flow of the dandelion seeds blowing in the wind and is really pretty and subtly pink and sparkly in real life :)

Supplies: Stamps – My Favorite Things make a wish; Inks – Memento tuxedo black, Versafine onyx black; Card – Papertrey Ink kraft, Copic X-press It blending card; Paper – My Mind’s Eye sky’s the limit 6×6 pad; Stencil – My Favorite Things graduated dots; Dies – Simon Says Stamp tilted banners, Lil’ Inker Designs stitched rectangles; Lil’ Davis Designs rose glitter glaze; Ranger star dust stickles
