Oh I had the most delightful package arrive in the post this morning; the latest release from Clearly Besotted Stamps! I just couldn’t wait to ink up this fabulous orchid which is part of the Thinking of You set. Please excuse the slightly dull photo; the light is not brilliant today but I wanted to share straight away LOL.

The flower is white heat embossed onto Neenah solar white card and then coloured with Copics. I love delicate flowers heat embossed in white it sort of adds to the delicate, ethereal feel I think. I tried to get that almost transparent look to the petal edges and added some Ranger rock candy distress stickles to help too. The font combinations in the set are great and the sentiments are perfect for those tricky sympathy cards.

The new sets will be revealed on Stephanie’s blog tomorrow and then available from the store on Monday! Hopefully you will see more peeks from me in the next day or two but I’m off to do my first proper demo at a craft group tomorrow so I need to pack and prepare for that next.  I’m making two cards I showed here using a previously released CBS set Happy Everything. Eek the nerves are starting to kick in; I hope I don’t mess up!

Supplies: Stamps Clearly Besotted Stamps thinking of you; Inks – Versamark, Versafine smokey gray; Card – Neenah solar white, Papertrey Ink plum pudding; Rhinestones – Stampin’ Up; Ranger Distress Stickles rock candy
